IP cameras
Internet-connected video monitors
IP cameras are video cameras that transmit footage over a computer network rather than through dedicated analog cables.
Unlike older closed-circuit systems, they connect via Ethernet or Wi-Fi, allowing remote viewing from anywhere with internet access.
Common in home security and commercial surveillance: The IP cameras let me check on the house from my phone.
Also called network cameras.
