Hurston
Hurston is a surname, most notably associated with Zora Neale Hurston (1891–1960), the American novelist and anthropologist whose work documented Black Southern culture and dialect.
Her novel *Their Eyes Were Watching God* is a landmark of American literature.
We're reading Hurston in my African American literature class.
