Crazy Frog
Viral animated amphibian
Crazy Frog is a computer-animated character—a bug-eyed amphibian in a helmet—that became an early-2000s internet phenomenon.
Originally called "The Annoying Thing," it was paired with a remix of "Axel F" from *Beverly Hills Cop* and became a ringtone sensation before hitting European pop charts.
The character's repetitive sound effects and manic energy made it inescapable in 2005: That Crazy Frog ringtone drove everyone insane.
