Asian architecture
Pagodas and temples
Asian architecture encompasses the building traditions and styles of Asia, from the pagodas and curved rooflines of East Asia to the ornate temples of Southeast Asia and the domes and minarets of Islamic architecture in West and South Asia.
The term is broad enough to be nearly meaningless—grouping Japanese minimalism with Indian temple carvings—but persists in casual use: The resort features Asian architecture with reflecting pools and bamboo screens.
