Antelope Canyon
Navajo sandstone passage
Antelope Canyon is a slot canyon in northern Arizona, near Page, carved by flash floods through Navajo sandstone over millions of years.
The narrow passageways and flowing rock formations create dramatic light beams and color gradients, making it one of the most photographed landscapes in the American Southwest.
The canyon lies on Navajo Nation land and is accessible only through guided tours.
