Rather than adapt the experience as a whole, instead plan on repurposing much of the material into a different structure.
Discussion
During the formative years of the Internet, print, radio, and television were quick to adapt to online publishing. However, real life experiences were harder to adapt to the web browser. Indeed, online and physical experiences are very different media, and physical experiences rarely translate directly into online experiences. One approach is to arrange material in a hierarchical manner (chapters, sections, pages), with a layout similar to a magazine. Most images should be enlargeable, and there should be an emphasis on interactivity rather than textual content.
