whisker pads
Feline facial cushions
Whisker pads are the fleshy, rounded areas on either side of a cat's muzzle where the whiskers emerge.
These puffy cushions contain the follicles and nerve endings that make whiskers sensitive to touch and air movement.
Cat lovers often find them endearing: Look at those chubby whisker pads!
