unmashed
Still in pieces
Unmashed describes something that has not been mashed—left whole or intact rather than crushed into a soft mass.
The word appears almost exclusively with potatoes: She prefers her potatoes unmashed, just boiled with butter.
Occasionally used for other foods that might otherwise be pulped or puréed.
