undeodorized

Undeodorized describes something that has not been treated to remove or mask its natural smell.

The term most often applies to products like cocoa butter, shea butter, or lanolin, which in their undeodorized form retain their original, sometimes pungent scent.

Undeodorized cocoa butter has a strong chocolate smell that some find pleasant.

The undeodorized version is often preferred by those seeking less processed ingredients.
