unbuoyed
Lacking upward lift
Unbuoyed means not lifted or supported, either literally or figuratively.
A channel may be unbuoyed, lacking the floating markers that guide navigation.
More often the word describes spirits or morale that haven't been raised: Unbuoyed by the weak sales figures, she reconsidered the product launch.
