unaskable

Too taboo asking

Unaskable describes a question that cannot or should not be posed—whether because it's too personal, too politically sensitive, or violates social norms: Whether she'd had an abortion was unaskable.

Sometimes the barrier is logical rather than social: questions with no coherent answer are unaskable in a different sense.
