unadvised
Lacking outside guidance
Unadvised means not having received advice or counsel, or acting without proper guidance: She made the decision unadvised.
More commonly, it describes actions taken without sufficient thought or deliberation—rash or imprudent: an unadvised investment.
The word is somewhat formal and old-fashioned; *ill-advised* now dominates in most contexts.
