tavern regular
Familiar pub face
A tavern regular is someone who frequents a particular bar or pub so often they've become a familiar fixture—known by name to the staff, claiming the same stool, perhaps with a usual drink poured before they ask.
The tavern regulars gathered for their nightly card game.
The term carries a whiff of old-fashioned local drinking culture, neighborhood joints where everybody knows your name.
