sore winner
Triumphant yet insufferable
A sore winner is someone who wins but behaves badly about it—gloating, rubbing it in, or showing poor sportsmanship in victory.
The counterpart to a sore loser, who handles defeat ungraciously.
Nobody likes a sore winner, so try to be humble about your promotion.
