small change
Loose pocket money
Small change is coins of low denomination—pennies, nickels, dimes.
By extension, it means an insignificant amount of money or something trivial: A million dollars is small change to a billionaire.
The phrase often dismisses something as unimportant relative to larger matters: Don't worry about the details—that's small change compared to the main problem.
