severable
Able to split
Severable describes something that can be separated or divided from a whole.
The term appears most often in legal contexts, where a severable clause or provision can be removed from a contract without invalidating the rest: The court found the non-compete clause severable from the employment agreement.
A severable contract can be enforced in parts even if some portions are void.
