roulades
Meat pinwheels, basically
Roulades are thin slices of meat or fish rolled around a filling, then cooked: beef roulades stuffed with pickles and mustard.
The term also applies to rolled cakes filled with cream or jam.
In music, a roulade is a rapid melodic run, typically sung on a single syllable—an ornamental flourish requiring vocal agility.
