Road users are people traveling on public roads—drivers, cyclists, motorcyclists, and pedestrians alike.
The term appears most often in traffic law, safety campaigns, and signage, where it serves as a neutral category encompassing everyone who shares the road: All road users must obey traffic signals.
British English uses the phrase more frequently than American English.
