public installations
Outdoor community fixtures
Public installations are works of art, architecture, or functional structures placed in shared spaces for community access.
The term most often refers to large-scale sculptures, monuments, or interactive art pieces in parks, plazas, and civic areas: The city commissioned several public installations for the waterfront.
It can also mean infrastructure like benches, fountains, or lighting systems installed for public use.
