part-time studies
Not full course load
Part-time studies is academic coursework pursued at a reduced pace, typically while working or managing other responsibilities.
A part-time student takes fewer courses per term than a full-time student, extending the time to complete a degree or certificate: She's doing her MBA through part-time studies while raising two kids.
The arrangement trades speed for flexibility.
