palefaced

Drained of color

Palefaced means having a pale or white face, whether from fear, illness, or naturally light complexion.

The term appears in older Western fiction as a supposed Native American designation for white Europeans: The palefaced stranger rode into town.

This usage is now considered dated and stereotypical.
