nonvested
Still being earned
Nonvested describes benefits or rights that have not yet become fully owned by the recipient.
In employment contexts, nonvested retirement funds or stock options can be forfeited if the employee leaves before completing a required period of service: She lost her nonvested pension contributions when she quit after two years.
The opposite of vested.
