noncompetitors
Those not competing
Noncompetitors are individuals, companies, or entities that are not in direct competition with one another, typically because they operate in different markets, industries, or segments.
The term often appears in business and legal contexts, particularly in agreements where parties want to clarify their relationship: The merger involved two noncompetitors serving different geographic regions.
Noncompetitors may collaborate more freely than rivals would, sharing information or resources without antitrust concerns.
