After-sunset exercise session
A night run is a session of running done after dark, whether for training, exercise, or simply preference.
Runners may choose night runs to avoid heat, fit schedules, or enjoy quieter streets: I do my night runs around the park after the kids are asleep.
The term also applies to nighttime deliveries or transport operations: The truckers preferred the night run to avoid traffic.
