Light flow describes a reduced or gentle rate of movement, most commonly referring to menstrual bleeding that is lighter than typical: I only need pantyliners during my light flow days.
The term also applies to traffic, water, or other substances moving at less than usual volume or intensity: We hit light flow on the highway and made good time.
