leaplings
Born February twenty-ninth
Leaplings are people born on February 29, the extra day that occurs only in leap years.
Since their actual birthday comes around just once every four years, leaplings typically celebrate on February 28 or March 1 in common years: The leaplings in our family always joke about being a quarter of their real age.
