joykiller

Spoils the mood

A joykiller is a person or thing that ruins others' enjoyment or enthusiasm.

Similar to killjoy or buzzkill, but emphasizing the active destruction of pleasure rather than mere dampness of spirit: Don't be such a joykiller—let them have their fun.

The word can also describe circumstances or events that spoil anticipated happiness: The rain was a real joykiller for the outdoor wedding.
