irreconciled

Irreconciled describes things that remain in conflict or have not been brought into agreement.
Accounts that are irreconciled still show discrepancies.
People who are irreconciled have not made peace with each other or with circumstances: She remained irreconciled to her father's death.
The word suggests an unresolved state that could, in principle, be resolved—unlike irreconcilable, which implies resolution is impossible.
