hollering at

Loudly addressing someone

Hollering at someone is calling out to get their attention, usually across a distance: I heard someone hollering at me from across the parking lot.

In casual speech, especially African American vernacular, it also means to contact someone later or to flirt: Holler at me when you're free, He was hollering at every woman in the club.
