furthest
At maximum distance
Furthest marks the greatest distance or extent—the superlative form of far.
It works for physical distance the furthest point from shore and figurative extremes the furthest thing from my mind.
Furthest and farthest are interchangeable, though farthest tends toward literal distance while furthest leans toward abstract uses: That's the furthest I'm willing to go in this negotiation.
