fake stamps
Bogus postal stickers
Fake stamps are counterfeit postage stamps, either reproductions of genuine stamps made to defraud postal services or forgeries of rare stamps made to deceive collectors.
The term also covers stamps that look official but serve no postal function—decorative labels, protest art, or novelty items: The envelope was covered in fake stamps depicting imaginary countries.
