extension tables

Extension tables are dining tables designed to expand, typically through leaves that insert into the center or fold out from beneath.

When guests arrive, you extend the table; when they leave, you return it to everyday size.

The mechanism allows flexible seating capacity without permanently sacrificing floor space.

We bought an extension table that seats four normally but expands to eight.
