Inebriated late calls
Drunk dialing is calling someone on the phone while intoxicated, typically late at night, often to confess feelings, revisit old grievances, or contact an ex.
The impaired judgment leads to conversations the caller regrets in the morning: I drunk dialed my ex at 2 a.m. and left a rambling voicemail.
The concept extends to drunk texting, which has largely supplanted it.
