double-teamed
Two against one
Double-teamed describes being confronted or guarded by two opponents simultaneously.
The term comes from sports, where two defenders converge on one player: He was double-teamed every time he touched the ball.
It extends to any situation where someone faces coordinated pressure from two sources: I felt double-teamed by my parents at dinner.
