crinkle toy
Baby's sound maker
A crinkle toy is a pet or infant toy containing material that makes a crackling, rustling sound when squeezed or manipulated.
The crinkling noise—meant to mimic the sound of crumpling paper or plastic—captures attention and encourages interaction: The baby loves her crinkle toy.
Dogs and cats are drawn to the sound, which may trigger prey-drive instincts.
