creative solutions
Outside-the-box thinking
Creative solutions are approaches to problems that diverge from conventional or obvious methods.
The phrase appears constantly in business and educational contexts, often as empty jargon: We need creative solutions to boost engagement.
When genuine, it describes answers that reframe problems or combine ideas in unexpected ways.
The plural form dominates because single instances rarely get this label—one creative solution is just a good idea.
