cart pusher
Wheeled load handler
A cart pusher is a retail employee who collects shopping carts from a parking lot and returns them to the store entrance.
The job involves working outdoors in all weather conditions, often at grocery stores and big-box retailers: I spent two summers as a cart pusher at Walmart.
The term also applies to motorized machines that push long trains of carts.
