careers fair
Employment networking event
A careers fair is an event where employers and recruiters set up booths to meet potential job candidates, typically held at universities or convention centers.
Attendees circulate among displays, collect information, and make initial contacts: I handed out thirty résumés at the careers fair.
Also called a job fair or career fair.
