articulable
Able to state
Articulable means capable of being expressed in words.
The term appears most often in legal contexts, where police must have an articulable reason for a stop or search—one they can state clearly rather than act on mere hunch.
Outside law, anything articulable can be put into language: The feeling was real but not quite articulable.
