Vatican Museums
Rome's holy collection
The Vatican Museums are a complex of art galleries and museums within Vatican City, housing one of the world's largest collections of art and antiquities accumulated by the Catholic Church over centuries.
The collection includes the Sistine Chapel with Michelangelo's ceiling, the Raphael Rooms, and classical sculptures like the Laocoön.
