United States Secret Service
Guards the president
The United States Secret Service is a federal law enforcement agency with two primary missions: protecting the president, vice president, their families, and other high-ranking officials; and investigating financial crimes, particularly counterfeiting.
The agency was established in 1865 to combat currency fraud and only later acquired its protective duties.
Often shortened to the Secret Service: Secret Service agents surrounded the motorcade.
