Mean Joe Greene
Mean Joe Greene is the nickname of Charles Edward Greene, a dominant defensive tackle for the Pittsburgh Steelers during the 1970s.
The "Mean" referred to his ferocious playing style and intimidating presence on the field.
He anchored the Steel Curtain defense that won four Super Bowls and became a cultural icon through a 1979 Coca-Cola commercial where he tosses his jersey to a young fan.
