Lady A
Country music group
Lady A is a country music group, formerly known as Lady Antebellum until 2020 when they shortened the name to distance themselves from associations with the pre–Civil War American South.
The change sparked controversy when a Black blues singer already performing as Lady A challenged their use of the name.
Lady A's crossover hit "Need You Now" dominated radio in 2010.
