Kinder eggs
Toy-filled chocolate shells
Kinder eggs are chocolate eggs with a small toy inside, made by the Italian company Ferrero.
The hollow chocolate shell splits into two halves, revealing a plastic capsule containing an unassembled figurine or gadget.
Popular worldwide, they're banned from sale in the United States because the non-edible toy violates food safety regulations against embedded objects.
The kids always fight over who gets to open the Kinder egg.
