Hokey Cokey
In-out-shake group activity
A British party song and group dance in which participants form a circle and follow instructions to put limbs in and out, shake them about, then turn around.
Known as the Hokey Pokey in North America.
The song's call-and-response structure makes it popular at children's parties and informal gatherings: We did the Hokey Cokey at the wedding reception.
