DC current
Battery's electron flow
DC current is direct current—electrical current that flows in one direction only, as from a battery, rather than alternating back and forth like household AC power.
The phrase is technically redundant since DC already contains "current," but DC current appears commonly in casual and even technical usage when distinguishing power types.
