Bitcoin Cash
Larger block cryptocurrency
Bitcoin Cash is a cryptocurrency that split from Bitcoin in 2017 over disagreements about transaction capacity.
Proponents wanted larger block sizes to handle more transactions per second, while Bitcoin maintained smaller blocks.
The fork created a separate currency with its own blockchain: Bitcoin Cash transactions are faster but the coin never matched Bitcoin's market value.
Often abbreviated BCH.
