walk on sunshine

Tread on brightness

Walk on sunshine describes a state of extreme happiness or elation, as if so light with joy you could tread on sunbeams.

The phrase gained currency from the 1985 Katrina and the Waves pop song: I just got the job offer—I'm walking on sunshine right now.

Often used to characterize someone radiating infectious good cheer.
