unmuffled
Lacking sound dampening
Unmuffled describes a sound no longer dampened or suppressed—restored to full volume or clarity.
An unmuffled exhaust roars without a muffler's quieting effect.
The word can also describe something unwrapped or uncovered: She unmuffled her face from the scarf.
