unmanifest
Hidden from perception
Unmanifest describes what has not yet taken visible or tangible form—potential that exists but remains unexpressed.
The term appears in spiritual and metaphysical contexts, where the unmanifest is the formless source from which all creation emerges: In the beginning was the unmanifest, before anything had taken shape.
It contrasts with manifest, the realized or apparent.
